Power Bank Care and Maintenance
How to Extend Your Power Bank's Battery Life
A few simple charging and storage habits can help maintain battery performance, extend its lifespan and ensure your heated sit pad is ready whenever you need extra warmth.
- Recharge the power bank every 2–3 months, even when not in use.
- Store the power bank at 50–80% charge for optimal long-term battery health.
- Recharge after use to maintain battery performance.
- Avoid frequently draining the battery completely. Regular top-ups are better for battery health.
- Only charge the power bank when it is dry and undamaged. Never leave it charging unattended.
Why Proper Battery Care Matters
Like most lithium-ion batteries, the power bank contains battery cells that can be damaged if left completely discharged for extended periods. This may lead to deep discharge, potentially causing permanent damage and reduced battery capacity.
Regular charging and storing the power bank partially charged help protect the battery cells, maintain performance and extend battery life.
With proper care, your HeatX heated sit pad and power bank can provide reliable warmth and comfort for many seasons to come.
