Additional Terms for Social Media Giveaways (Instagram & Facebook)

 

Clause 1: Scope & Organizer

These Additional Terms and Conditions apply exclusively to all promotional giveaways

conducted by HeatX (hereinafter referred to as the 'Organizer') on its official social media

channels. By entering the giveaway, participants unconditionally accept these specific rules

alongside the general site terms.

Clause 2: Regional Eligibility & Age Restrictions

Participation is open solely to natural persons who have reached 18 years of age at the time of

entry and maintain permanent legal residence in one of the following countries: Norway,

Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, France, or Belgium. Employees of

the Organizer, corporate affiliates, and their immediate family members are legally excluded

from entry.

Clause 3: Entry Protocol & Anti-Spam Mechanisms

Valid entry occurs exclusively via completion of the mandatory interactions outlined in the

respective social media post (e.g., following the account and submitting a contextual comment).

Sharing the promotional post or mentioning/tagging external users in the comment section

remains strictly voluntary and will exert zero influence on the outcome of the draw. Automated

submission systems, sweepstakes services, or individuals deploying manipulative strategies

(e.g., mass script generation) will be instantly disqualified.

Clause 4: Random Selection, Notification & Forfeiture

Winners will be determined by random draw following the exact expiration of the stated

participation window. Winner notification is executed exclusively via Direct Message (DM)

originating from our verified business profile. Drawn individuals must respond within 7 calendar

days; failure to respond results in immediate, absolute forfeiture, and a replacement winner will

be drawn. Prizes are non-transferable, non-negotiable, and completely void of cash redemption

alternatives.

Clause 5: Data Privacy Framework

In accordance with GDPR, personal telemetry captured during the giveaway (social handles,

names, and delivery addresses) will be processed strictly for operational execution and prize

fulfillment. Third-party disclosure is prohibited. All campaign-specific data will be permanently

purged upon final delivery confirmation.

Clause 6: Explicit Exclusion of Legal Recourse

Legal recourse is strictly barred (Der Rechtsweg ist ausgeschlossen) in accordance with the structural framework of promotional gaming exemptions (analogous to § 762 of the German Civil Code - BGB). The Organizer assumes zero liability for permanent or temporary technical disruptions, network latencies, or algorithm errors originating from the host platform architecture (Meta/Instagram).

Clause 7: Complete Meta Disassociation

This promotion is entirely independent of Instagram and Meta. It is neither sponsored,

endorsed, administered by, nor associated with the platform provider. All operational inquiries,

data tracking, and legal claims must be addressed directly to the Organizer, not Meta.
